Common pricing questions
What's included in a monthly plan vs a single class?
Monthly plans include 4, 8, or 12 private classes, depending on the pace you choose. They also include a dedicated Google Classroom, a summary PDF after each session, weekly Brazilian content, and personalized teacher feedback. Drop-ins are $30 for Adult and Young Learner classes and $35 for CELPE-Bras and Business Portuguese; they include the class only.
Why does a single class cost more per class than the monthly plan?
Monthly packages reward consistency with 5% off four classes and 10% off eight or twelve classes. Adult and Young Learner classes use a $25 base rate, while specialized CELPE-Bras and Business Portuguese classes use a $35 base rate. Drop-ins are the flexible pay-as-you-go option and include only the class itself.
How do class credits work?
A class credit is one prepaid class slot. Monthly plans include 4, 8, or 12 credits, normally used once, twice, or three times per week. If you need to move a class, reschedule with at least 24 hours notice so the credit can be used on the new date.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel ongoing classes through the Stripe customer portal or by giving 15 calendar days notice by email. Canceling stops future renewals; the Terms of Service explain how any current billing period is handled.
Are prices ever discounted or negotiated?
Adult and Young Learner plans are $95 for 4 monthly classes, $180 for 8, $270 for 12, or $30 for one drop-in. CELPE-Bras and Business Portuguese plans are $133 for 4 monthly classes, $252 for 8, $378 for 12, or $35 for one drop-in. Package prices include 5% off four classes and 10% off eight or twelve classes, and your first 30-minute class is free.
