Questions before you choose
Common program questions
Do I need any Portuguese before starting?
No. Complete beginners are welcome in all programs. The free first class is a placement session — we assess your level and design your plan from there.
What platform do classes take place on?
All classes are held on Zoom. You get a recurring link when you enroll.
What time zones do you work with?
Dra. Carla works with students across North America, Europe, and Brazil. Morning, afternoon, and evening slots are available.
Can I switch programs if my goals change?
Yes. If you start with Adult Classes and later decide to pursue CELPE-Bras, we transition you — no penalty, no lost credits.
What is a class credit?
A class credit is one prepaid class slot. Monthly plans include 4, 8, or 12 credits, normally used once, twice, or three times per week. If you need to move a class, reschedule with at least 24 hours notice so the credit can be used on the new date.
Is there a refund policy?
Refunds and cancellations follow the published Terms of Service. Monthly subscriptions can be canceled through the Stripe customer portal or with 15 calendar days notice by email.
